This week has been pretty awesome!
first. we've decided to go to Australia in March, for 5 days. We're REALLY looking forward to it. We'll mostly be going to some awesome water parks, and the beach, but also some shopping and maybe some sightseeing. It's at Gold Beach (hint: google it). It looks really beautiful :P
It's been a bit more than 5 months now, and I must admit, that I'm not really as homesick as I though I would be by now, which is of course only good. It's almost Christmas, and I've now bought all of my presents for the family. I have also gotten a package from my parents back in Denmark, with some presents, my hat, and best of all, liquorice.
My family and I have now discovered a way I can get some more money. We cut down a lot of bamboo which we think we can sell for a reasonable price. I help out a lot with it, and have already in this week spend 8 hours cutting leaves off (which hurts an awful lot of it touches the skin), so they can dry. I have also checked the possibility of street baskering with my guitar, and I have been told that I don't need a permit or anything to do it here, so I'm thinking of going to Palmerston North one of the days before Christmas, to try to get some money from the shoppers.
I also only need 2 sleighs more to get 5000 kr. on my Christmas Calender, and 1 candle to get 100 kr.
Tuesday we had a good BBQ. But the weather wasn't too nice. all week before that it was sunny all day, and all week after it, it has been sunny, but not that exact day, instead it was cloudy, windy and cold. We still had fun though, and ended up watching movies half the night. The same day I moved to a new room, and we discovered that we could fit 4 sleeping people in my new bed, and still not be extremely uncomfortable. Although everyone was lying pretty randomly.
My new room is quite a lot bigger than any of the other 2 I've had since I got here. It's also closer to Joe's (my brother) room, so we don't have to move that far to play computer. Most of the time we even just sit in each our room, and yell at each other to act sociable (all friendly).
that pretty much sums everything up from the past week I think.
I hope you who read this, have had a good day so far, and is happy :)

People are leaving
We dropped off my Japanese sister this morning for the flight back to Japan. We left at 05:10, so obviously me and my brothers didn't go to sleep, and instead sat in our kitchen playing games all night. As a result we were REALLY tired when we dropped her off, and didn't really have energy to emote. But she is gone now, and I have gotten a few hours of sleep. Surprisingly I woke up before my sisters, who slept all night, and went to bed when we came home, as I did.
But now we are only 4 student left in the house. Carlos will be leaving in a few weeks. We're not completely sure when, because of some trouble with tickets, but between the 4. and 13.
Next weekend we'll be going to Rotorua again. We'll stay the same place as we did last time, because it was a really nice house, and it was really cheap too (only $60 pr. night for all of us). We're going to try a lot of things I don't remember the names of. We're all looking really forward to it, and can't wait.
The summer has pretty much struck is now, I'm having problems every day I go to skate park, because it just gets too hot to do anything. Luckily we have our pool, which is quite nice and almost warm now.
We've been cutting down some trees form the garden this week. As a result, I got really sunburnt, because it got WAY too hot to wear my t-shirt. At one point I had to jump in the pool with my Jeans-shorts to cool off, which helped me through the whole day, because my shorts stayed wet until we were done.
I am still trying to write a song I will be proud enough of to put on youtube. And as soon as it happens, I will update about it here, in case anyone is interested. The problem isn't really about writing the lyrics, it's more about making is sound exactly the way I want it to, and it's pretty difficult since I change my mind about it every day.
I am sorry I haven't really updated for a while, but it's holiday, and most of the time we're either with our friends, or at home, which isn't really enough to blog about.
But I think that's pretty much all I have for now
Bye!

Summer holiday
Just to do a quick update. I get my summer holiday tomorrow. I won't be going back to school 'till sometime in February. I also won an award for my musical talent today, it's not much, only a paper telling that I have done very well. But the fact that I am the only one to get it, makes it a bit more special :D
I also spent all weekend working for my family. We needed the pool cleaned, and we removed a lot of trees and bushes, to make our garden a bit more good looking. We are currently filling the pool, but it takes quite a while, because we only have 1 hose, which is not very effective.
Next weekend we will be going river rafting. I'm really looking forward to it. I don't exactly know where, or how far away it is, but it's going to be really awesome :P

Summer
Summer has finally come, we had 27 degrees today! :P It was almost too much, and we have been tanning since we got home from school, next to our green pool (we haven't cleaned it yet) :P
With a little help from my music teacher, my school asked me to play for a competition. I had to play some of my music for when people got there, so they wouldn't get too bored too soon. I couldn't enter the competition though, since it was a speech competition, but I had fun, and I am feeling famous and popular :D
Just to give a quick update and make everyone in cold cold Denmark wish they were here in our awesome heat :P

Back again
Hello, I'm back from an awesome weekend with my family :P
We lived in a very isolated area. We only saw 2 people, we had no reception and of cause, there was a lake nearby to make the horror movie plot seem even more clear. We lived in a REALLY large house. I hadn't expected more than a kitchen and a room or 2 where we would all stay in together. instead we got more room than we have here at out house.
We went to a place on top of a hill where we tried an air-swing. Which is kind of a normal swing, but you are 3 people in it, and you get pulled up to around 20 meters of the ground, and it lets go. We accelerated to 150 km/h in just 2 seconds.
next we went to some go-kart thing, without engines. They were driven by gravity and we drove down a really long hill, getting some pretty nice speeds.
And finally yesterday (Sunday) I made a bungee-jump. I did it in Taupo, which is the highest water touch bungee jump. I put a video on youtube, if you haven't watched it yet, you can watch it here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eMQ66m5r1P0 I've really been looking forward to it, and I am now looking forward to take a 3 times higher jump around Christmas :P
I also just finished my 1. composition in music, I got merit, which is the same as the Danish 7/10. I'm going to attempt getting the excellence (12) for my next song, and I already, after working on it for 1 day, think it's better :P

Rotarua
We're going to leave soon. I've packed and ready, and I'm looking forward to a great weekend, with an awesome bungy jump in the end :P There won't be any reception of any kind while I'm there, so I won't update every night (I had thought of that, since I will remember everything better like that), and I won't be able to text with my friends, so it's only bonding with the family (I am in fact happy for that) :P
I also just finished my 1. composition, and my teacher liked it. It was really simple with only 7 different sentences, but he liked it and he's sure I'm going to pass :P He also gave me some ideas to ad to it, 'cause it was quite short. I just finished adding a chorus ('cause I originally didn't care for a chorus). I will probably put it on youtube when I get home, but lets see what happens.
We also payed our South Island trip Wednesday, so everything is planned and ready :P We will start 25/12 and make our way to adventure. Which means we will celebrate christmas 24. as I am used to. We will then be home 3/1, where I will still have about 1 month of holiday left.
I also just sent my girlfriends christmas present (sorry family, but I thought you might be okay with not getting anything this year). Of obvious reasons I can't tell you what it is, since I am not sure wether she reads my blog or not, but I can tell you it's special :D

I know it's been a while
Hello everyone :D I know I haven't updated in a while, but we don't have unlimited internet here, and I ended up running out of my share of it :/ We might get unlimited today though, but we're not completely sure, since my "dad" got a text a month ago, saying we would be getting it, but he hasn't heard anything about it since then.
Anyway... it's starting to get warmer here :P but at the same time more windy, so I can't go to the skatepark and hang out with my friends, without blowing away on my way there :/
The past couple of weeks I've started to be more with my friends. We normally sit in some park (we have quite a lot here) or just walk around.
Next weekend we'll go on a family weekend to Rotorua. We will do a thing I don't quite remember the name of, but you sit in a gokart, and drive down a hill and get quite a lot of speed on the way down. My family told me that it's not really safe, and I will have to take care so I don't brake any bones, but with the luck I've had with injuries while I've been here, I can already look forward to a broken arm -.-
I hope that doesn't happen though, 'cause we might go Bungee-jumping in Taupe on the way home. I've already thought all the possible ways I can die through, so I'm now ready to litterally, jump into it.
We will also go to see some of the hot pools they have. I think I did this with my real family there too in 2004, but I'm looking forward to do it again.
I've started in school again after 2 weeks of holiday, and I already want holiday again. Luckily I only have to wait 2 more weeks untill my summerholiday starts, and I will have 3 months of relaxation with out pool :P We've planned to go to the South Island and have a look at how it is there. I've prommised my mom and dad back in Denmark, that I will write down some good places to go, since they will be picking me up in May. They told me a week or 2 ago, that while waiting in the airport, they decided to order some tickets to come pick me up :P We will then go home again June 3.
As mentioned before, my luck with getting hurt has really been a pain in the *ss since I got here. I started with falling on snowboard and sprain my wrist (thank god it wasn't broken). I then fell on my skateboard, and couldn't walk out the house for 3-4 days. Friday our pool at the school opened, and as a water lover I had to jump in it. but it was slightly more shallow than I thought, and I ended up injuring my foot (I have no idea how I did it). After that I couldn't really walk, and it only got worse and worse. I can't feel it todays though, but I had to call my "mom" to pick me up. Unfortunately she was in Wanganui to but a new phone, and I had to wait 35 minutes to be picked up.
On of my friends I met on my way here, has now changed family. Her family thought she was a whore, because she is used to (like I am) to be friends with both genders, and hang out with them too. A week ago she told me she wasn't even allowed to go to the shop to buy stuff. She had to go home right after school and take care of the family's children. She started to feel more like a 24/7 babysitter than an exchange student, so she now lives with one of her friends. Luckily my family isn't anything like that. They're pretty much like my family back in Denmark with the social life.
All in all everything in my life right now is good. I have awesome friends, pretty good grades, not very much homesickness, and a nice family to talk to if anything should happen. I am REALLY looking forward to next weekend, where I might just get to bungee jump (it's not final though), and I can't wait to go to the South Island.
Bye :D

Holiday
I now have 2 weeks of holiday!
and after the holiday I have to go to school for 3 weeks, and then I have summer holiday.
I have been using quite a lot of money the past 2 weeks (my mom might support that), but I've bought a new mouse for my computer, a skateboard and new shoes, since my other shoes kept getting holes in the side from using the skateboard.
Getting the skateboard, means that I can finally start using the skate park we have here. It's not very large, but it's better than rolling around in the limited space in the garage. I've only been there in the evenings so far, since I usually am really tired in the afternoon, so I haven't met any other people there.
I'm also starting to get more out of the house. Monday I'm planning to going home to one of my friends, and Tuesday I'm chilling in somewhere with some other friends.
We had a tallent quest on the school, which I of course joined. I didn't win, because we had some bad judges, who didn't listen, and instead chose the ones who where playing guitar and singing (Their singing wasn't that good). But, now everyone knows that I play guitar, and that I am pretty good at it (high fiveing myself). And I also got the chance to get on stage again. I played Tears In Heaven by Eric Clapton, without any errors.

Unordinary week
This week some new stuff happened. we were invited to something none of us really knew what was Thursday. We just knew where and when when we should be there. It turned out to be an important annual Freemason meeting, where normal people (like us) could come and have a look. They told us all about their ranks and some of the things in their great meeting hall. It was actually pretty interesting (although I wouldn't want to join it, even at home). They had some things we weren't allowed to see, because they have some secret things going on. I learned that they were the ones sponsoring the ski trip, so we didn't have to pay a fortune.
Also, our computing teacher at the school are starting to ease up a bit. Yesterday (Friday), he let us play 'hangman' all class, and Wednesday he told us to play some games instead of doing what we really were supposed to (although it had to be educational games). I'm still going to chose something different for next year, but it makes it a bit more fun to do something a bit different, once in a while.
I have thought of only changing computing for next year. I was thinking about joining building instead, which is kind of like engineering, but we do it in wood instead. I was pretty good at it at home, and it could maybe help me a bit with my incapability with tools, and teach me something I can actually use when I come home, when I work with my father and brothers. I have seen some of the things they make. Right now most people make either benches or small tables. With the knowledge I have from my all knowing father at this, I know that the wood they use isn't very good. It's mostly something I wouldn't even consider using at home. But the school has some problems with money and funding for all the good things, and our engineering class, could use some new tools too.
I am always done with my 1. composition for music. I know it has taken an awful lot of time, but with my arm that is almost good again, and a string that sprang the same day as I got my cast off, I have had a problem with finishing it.
my cast is off again (if you didn't realise from what's written above). The doctors realised it was only sprained (I don't think I posted anything about this earlier this week here), so I'm good to go again until I hurt myself again next time.
I also think that my teachers are starting to really like me. My art teacher didn't care that I spend all class playing guitar, because some girls didn't know how to play Nothing Else Matters (which I of course had to show them). My sports teacher didn't care either that I spend all class, entertaining the other hard working teachers, who had a lot of paperwork to do, with my music. And finally my music teacher gave me a string for my guitar here at home, so I could finish my work.
Last, I have come to realise that people here are REALLY bad at sarcasm. I use sarcasm all the time, and every 10 minutes I have to explain to my friends that it was only meant sarcastic. I haven't really noticed it that much before, but when I yesterday met some girls with a guitar in my art class, and they asked me if I could play something for them, and I told them in the most sarcastic voice ever: "no, I have never held a guitar before, I have no idea how you play it", and they really believed me, I realised that I should probably try to keep it at a minimum. Also, I think people are starting to think that I hate my Finish "sister", because we use sarcasm to insult each other (she knows that it's only for fun).

Flight date
I got an email yesterday about the date I'm returning home, It's a bit early I got it, Carlos my "brother" who is from STS too, haven't even gotten his date yet, and he should return home around December. But the email said that they want me to return home around 8. of Juli. It's 2 months longer than I first expected. This means that I REALLY have to save my money. Currently I don't really have that much money, and if I have to stay here 2 months more than expected, I think I will have to stop using money whenever it isn't needed. I also need to have some more contact lenses sent for my eyes, since I only brought for 10 months.
It will make it a bit harder with homesickness when I get to May-June, since I had expected to go home at that point, but I guess I can pull through it. I will just have to hang out with my friends a bit more then. Also, the other students in the house are going home in May (as far as we know right now), so it will become more lonely, and quiet in the house.
I already talked to my girlfriend about it all, and though we already miss each other a lot, we decided that we can take those extra 2 moths if we have to (we anticipate that we are still together then).
I'm going to talk to my parents about it tomorrow when we're skyping, but I don't think there's much to do about it, and it would mean that we get 12 months for the price of 10. But at this time I have a feeling that 10 months would be enough for me.
No matter what I wont go back to Denmark because of homesickness. If we decide that I'm going to stay till July, then that's what I'm going to do, and I'm just going to have to pull through it :)
Just an update :)

Broken arm
I just got home from our ski/snowboard trip. As always I find a way to hurt myself. This time I broke my inner wrist bone on the left arm.
We had to drive 1,5 hour to get to Taupo hospital that could do both x-ray and a cast. This means that I saw some incredible nature on the way there, but also that my arm constantly hurt because of bumpy roads, and a car with a very bad suspension -.-
At the Taupo hospital I got a Danish nurse. It made everything a bit more comforting, and it felt much better knowing exactly what she was talking about, instead of getting everything in English where I might not have understood it all.
Since it's my hand I broke, I won't be able to play guitar for a while, which is really bad, because I have a group thing in music, and I just got a singer Tuesday. Hopefully we won't have to perform before I can play again.
Other than that, it was really fun. I got a lot closer to all the guys on our sports-team, and we had a lot of fun falling and running into each other Wednesday, where we started the snowboading.
I won't be able to play guitar for a while, and my contact lenses are going to be a lot of trouble the next week or so. Also, I'm almost not sick anymore, All I have now is a slight cough
Just wanted to give an update on my current health situation

No school :P
The school is having tests of some kind in this week, and since I don't have to take tests and I don't need the credits (that's what they use here instead of actual grades), I can stay home this week :) I've been talking to some of the other students in the house, about going to Palmerston North tomorrow or maybe Wednesday to shop. But since this is a really small town, there's only 1 or 2 busses going there each day. So we will have to get up at 6 or something -.-'
One of my friends told me that he saw on facebook that I am now single... If anyone else has seen this: I am not. I am still together with my wonderful girlfriend, and everything is better than I expected when we said goodbye in July. We don't talk everyday, it's more like once or twice a week, which is fine. This way I'm not constantly thinking about talking to her, when I'm at school or when I'm social with my family :) I still miss her though, but that's obvious.
Also, I have now paid for my ski trip. It cost $290, which is not bad at all, if you ask me. It's the 29th, which means I only have to be at school 2 days next week (yay!). I'm pretty much done with all the homework I get, I still have to make some reading responses, but it's due 11th week, so I have lots of time.
If everything is going as planned, I will put "Mama, I'm coming home" on youtube, by the end of this week. I haven't really had the time to practice it since wednesday. But I only need about 20 seconds, which I unfortunately have to figure out myself how to play, because none of the tabs I've been looking at wants to tell me in a readable language for human beings.
Just a quick update :)
Bye :)

I can't think of a title
Everything is pretty much normal at the moment... Nothing is really happening since it's kind of the same as back in Denmark in the school days. But some changes have been made though :)
I switched from math to art at school, because math was just WAY too advanced at some stuff. Some of the stuff we did was really simpel, but some of it just went over my head. I couldn't understand a thing of it. That means I now have art, where we mainly just sit around and draw stuff.
I also finished my 1. solo performance at school! I played Beatles - Blackbird, which I'm very used to play. I'm thinking about fnishing Cavatina (which is the deerhunter theme), for my next solo performance which I think might be in week 10 (it's week 5 now). Friday I'm going to do my 1. composition, which I'm not done with yet, so I might have to start thinking about some lyrics.
With that said I'm starting to have quite a lot of homework. I have to write a song to Friday, I have to finish 5-6 papers where I describe some tools and tell about what they're used for and how you should handle them, for engineering. Also I have to make a static image for English to Friday. The image has to be describing a scene from a movie we saw, but I'm almost done with that
Also I've started learning Ozzy Osbourne - Mama, I'm coming home. I started Sunday, and I'm almost done already :P I just need about 20 seconds, and it's done :) I've been playing guitar about 3-4 and sometimes 6 hours per day for a week now, so my fingers are constantly sore, but the pay-off is good :P

Vulcano
So... Apparently there was an eruption at a Mt Tongariro, which is also where I'm supposed to go on my ski trip. The eruption happened on the other side of the mountain, so the ski trip is still going as planned, unless something extreme happens the next few weeks. I think I flew over the mountain on my way here, but I'm not totally sure. Anyway... apparently Marton (where I live), smelled a lot like Rotorua last night (which smells like sulphur), but I didn't notice anything.
Also... we didn't have any electricity this morning, and it can be really difficult to get dressed with no light, when you HAVE to wear specific clothes, and your room isn't really as tidy as it probably should be... I'm pretty sure it has nothing to do with the eruption, since there hasn't been any real activity the past few days. But I might aswell just tell you
But here's a link if anyone is interested in any further details about the eruption: Vulcano Eruption
Last: I don't really remember whether I told everyone or not. But I have music at school (ofcourse), where I'm supposed to make 2 song, and play 2 solo tracks (where I chose to play Tears in Heaven, and blackbird). I'm pretty much done with my first song, but I still need 2 verses though. But I will probably upload the songs on youtube when I'm done with them if anyone is interested. (and yes, they are really optimistic about their students here)
That should be pretty much all I think :)

Almost 4 weeks
I've been here for almost 4 weeks already, and I haven't really felt any homesick... of course I've missed my family a bit, and especially my girlfriend, but it hasn't been as bad as I thought it would be. But then again, there's still 9 months and a Christmas to overcome, but I have a feeling that it won't be THAT bad (but I know there will be some homesickness).
I'm not sure if I mentioned a ski trip earlier. But if I haven't, then I'm telling you now: I'm going on a ski trip in 3-4 weeks. It's going to cost me $280 and I honestly expected more, so I'm definitely going! The students from Finland and Sweden I'm living with, are also going, so I won't be all alone, not knowing anyone.
Also I decided I probably won't go on the south island trip, since it's REALLY expensive! It's $1695, so I don't think I'm going, and since my parents told me we're coming back here in some years, I thought I might be able to wait a little longer. And if my parents aren't going to take me, I'm just going someday when my economy is existing.
I discovered that my family apparently is really active in the summer. In the past summers they have been river rafting and cool stuff like that. So I might be able to try the bungy jump here even though I'm probably not doing the south island trip.
I've also bought a new guitar! It's almost as good as the ones I have at home, and it only cost me $150 with new strings, a bag and a stand. My music teacher bought it for my on some online second hand store. He then decided to restring it for me for free, because the strings were really old and I would have to change them anyway. This means that for my upcoming video on youtube will be using the my 4. guitar for my 4. video, which I find a bit funny :p
But I'm out all of you :p

Sick
Hey everyone :)
Sorry I haven't updated in more than a week. But I just couldn't come up with what to write :)
But I've become sick... Yay! -.-' I'm constantly coughing, my throat constantly hurts, and I'm constantly sweating, even though I'm not doing anything -.-
The internet here is unfortunately limited and really slow, which I'm not used to in Denmark. I have 15 gb a day, which at first sounded like more than enough. But yesterday I used 600 mb in 3 hours just listening to music on youtube, and my daily use should be around 500 mb to have some for the whole month. So I already miss the Danish internet a bit :)
My music teacher has found me a guitar, which is almost as good as the Fender I have at home :) He bought it 2. hand, so it's quite used. It has been damaged a bit, but not too much. My teacher will restring it for me, and he found a bag and a guitar stand for it too. It sounds pretty expensive, but he bought it really cheap, so it should be around $100-150 which is not bad, since it's a steel string.
Also I'm going on a ski trip, with my sports team at the school. It will be from Wednesday - Friday, in my 7. week. I haven't gotten a price yet though. The other students will have to pay $100, because the school has some sponsors to pay most of it. But since I came halfway in, I might not get any support, but my teacher is trying to find some more money from some of the other teams going, so I might be lucky and only have to pay $100 like the other students, but since we're 4 new people (all from Scandinavia) They will have to find funding for all of us

HELLO!!!!
Hey everyone who wants to read :)
I see there has been some confusion about my Facebook usage, because I'm really bad at articulate what I really mean... But I'm not using Facebook all the time. Most of the time I'm just logged on, so people can always just text me if they want to :) I'm mostly on Facebook the first 10-20 minutes from I wake up in the morning, and right before I go to bed. Most of the time I'm with my family and the other students in the house. I haven't been together with my friends after school yet, because I don't have a sim for my phone, so it's a bit difficult to reach them. Also my phone doesn't really work over here, because there's no signal at all, but I can borrow one from my family. But I've agreed to go to some fast food thing one of the days with my friends, where they apparently serve really good food.
I haven't started on any guitar lessons yet. But I'm teaching someone from my music class how to play Tears In Heaven by Eric Clapton, which I all of a sudden forgot how to play while teaching her. So I've spend the most of my weekend trying to figure out how I used to do it. The internet wasn't really any help, because my teacher in Denmark had some other way to play it than any of the musicians on the internet. But I finally, by a coincidence, got it right while not thinking what I was doing...
Some info I forgot to mention in the other updates:
The school here starts at 08:40. But unfortunately I can't sleep for longer than in Denmark because I have to walk to school, which takes about 20 minutes. I have to get out of bed at 07:35 to get ready in time (I've only slept that long 1 time since I got here... normally I sleep till 05:00).
School is over at 15:05, with 2*30 minutes lunch, and 5 subjects every day except Tuesday where we're done at 14:05, because the dean has a speech every Tuesday and then we're off.
Lunch depends on who you have. I personally don't bring my own lunch. Instead I buy one of the schools meat pies and a Pepsi. Some of the other students in the house makes their lunch here at home, but I'm too lazy to do so.
Thank you for the great questions Dorte (I hope that's how you spell it!) :) And yes, I am one of the youngest :)
Bye everyone :)
p.s. I don't know who is the active one here... but yesterday I had 48 views! Thank you for your support everyone!!!!
p.s.s. I upload my guitar stuff on Youtube once in a while. And people are more than welcome to give me some ideas :) http://www.youtube.com/user/MBechzzz is my channel :) thank you :)

First week
My first in school is nearly over, and I'm still having trouble finding where I'm supposed to be. We have this thing called group class where they announce some of the changes they have made. But sometimes this group class moves to different locations. Yesterday I came 5-10 minutes late, because it had moved to the library. Luckily I met some 11 year student, who knew where I was supposed to be. I'm still trying to figure out where people get these information.
My daily routine is almost planned out now. And I think it might surprise my father that I get out of bed at 06:40 in the morning, almost every day, without an alarm (I still have an alarm though in case of me being really tired.
I know the STS told me to stay off Facebook as much as possible. But I find it easier to deal with homesickness like this, because I in any case of homesickness can talk to my friends in Denmark, and handle it like that. This means that I'm on Facebook most of the day (and night). So if anyone wants to contact me, I'm almost certainly on Facebook. In some cases though like when I'm in school I can't answer, because I find it easier to leave my laptop at home, because I only need it in Math, but I only have 1 Math lesson per day, so it really isn't worth it. I might start bringing it when I get my new bag though.
My new bag and my power supply are taking a little longer time to arrive than I first thought. I ordered it on Ebay, and when I started to become a bit impatient, I looked up why it was taking so damn long. I then read that from America to New Zealand, it normally takes around 8-21 days -.-' Which is an awful long time to wait. But I keep hoping that it might come soon.
I'm out y'all! :D

Friends
I'm getting to know more and more people :D I have some friends I apparently have to meet everyday in the school art class, where we eat and have fun, yaaay! (they force me to)
I had a short day at school today. I went home at 14:25, right after my 2. engineering class, which was actually pretty fun today. apparently the teacher doesn't care whether we do anything or not... But I'm making a soil dipper (I think that was what people said it was oO). It is first time I'm working with Iron, which requires some pretty badass machines compared to what I'm used to work with (which is mainly a Saw and nails). But right before that we had an assembly, which I'm not used to at all... I didn't know where to go, and I didn't know why everyone was standing in different lines. Luckily one of my friends came by and helped me out.
Today is also my 5. month with my girlfriend. So it has been a day with a lot of homesickness already, but I'll probably get used to her not being here as the year passes :/
Sorry I updated 2 days in a row, but I'm really bored now, and irritated on my computer and Ebay, because my new power supply for my computer haven't arrived yet -.-' So I had to rage a bit (which is what I just did, but I'm not very good at it). I also bought a new bag from Ebay (Ebay is the easiest way to buy stuff here, since there's an hours bus trip to the nearest city, where I might have a chance to find something). The bag is for my school stuff, since I only have 1 bag that's not a pain in the ass to carry around, and since it's yellow and only has 1 room in it, I prefer a new bag... And my new bag only cost around $50, which actually isn't bad.
Last. I just want to tell everyone that the sun is shining today!!!!! I didn't think I would get a look at that weird thing, but hey! apparently I'm lucky for once :D

school
I just came home from my first day of school. I only had 5 classes, so it isn't that bad. I've met a lot of new people. Apparently most of the people here likes rock and metal, which suits me fine. I could chose 6 classes I wanted to spend my time on. I chose English, Math, Music, Engineering, Computing and Sports, and I'm already bored of English... It's just like Danish in Denmark, but in English... but I guess I'll have to live with it. After all, it is kind of why I'm here.
But as I said before, I've met a lot of nice people. Apparently the whole school know who I am, so I've people asking me all types of questions, like: Are you Mat? Where are you from? Where is Denmark? Do they speak English in Denmark? What kind of music do you like? Etc.
In Music class, my teacher told me that someone giving lessons are coming in this week, so I might be able to get lessons here. Also the school has a LOT of guitars. Which are mostly better than the one I have here in my room (which is a REALLY old, and not a very good guitar).
I wanted to put a picture of my school uniform in here, but it is REALLY wet, because it rains here all the time... So I'm not going to do that :) instead, I took some pictures of my room, where I spend most of my time with Zack (the family's son), and Carlos (the Brazilian guy), and one of the families cats.

Arrived
I've arrived in New Zealand now. Apparently my host family has more students than kids at the moment (which ofcourse isn't a bad thing). I arrived around 13:00 or something like that, but went to my room to catch up some of the sleep I neglected on my way here (because the evil people designing the boring 777 (I think) installed mario super bros. on the computer/tv screen). I don't have unlimited internet like in Denmark. I have 5 gb for my use only, which I guess is good enough (I don't really know how much that is).
My power supply for my computer is broke, so I ordered a new one the minute I arrived. I searched the internet for about an hour, before realising that the only way I could make them send the one I need, was to order it on Ebay... hopefully it works.
Also the house is really cold... my host dad told me that it's like this all over the country, because they apparently aren't very good at keeping the heat inside the house (which is really clear when you look at the windows in my room which only has 1 glass instead of the isolating air between 2 pieces of glass). But I have a really good blanket on my bed, and a heat thingie under the blanket, which is incredibly comfortable.
I'm right now playing computer with my Brazilian brother Carlos, and my host son (I haven't learned his name yet), and waiting for the rare case of eyeball cancer, caused by my computer screen. I apparently also have at least 1 Japanese sister (I think he mentioned a girl, but not 100 % sure), but there might be some more Japanese people (I didn't quite get all he said because of the accent I'll have to get used to, but I'm already starting to understand more and more)
All in all, it's a really nice family I live with, I am sure this will be 10 fantastic and wonderful months, and I can't wait to go to school Monday (which I guess is the first time in my life I have been this excited about school o.O)
See ya, everyone reading this.

Singapore
Just arrived in Singapore, after a rather long flight, which is NOT recomended. I've met some great people, and had fun. Now there is 2 houres before next flight, and then I'll finally be in New Zealand. I haven't had much sleep, but I hope I can spend the next 10 hours sleeping (although I highly doubt it). I'm looking forward to meet my family, and my roommate, who might acutally be here in Singapore
Have fun everyone :)

Preparing for New Zealand
I am now pretty much ready for Monday, where I will travel to Copenhagen. Tuesday I will fly with Singapore airlines to Singapore (kind of obvious), and then Wednesday to New Zealand, where I'm going to spend the night at a hotel, and then Thursday I'll fly to some city I can't remember the name of, where I hope my new family will pick me up.
I have had my goodbye with my girlfriend, who I look forward to see again when I return home in May. I have seen my friends for the last time these 10 months, and tomorrow I will say goodbye to my family
Of cause I will need to wear a school uniform (unlike here in Denmark), I will need to say Mr. and Mrs. to my teachers whenever I feel like saying something in class (which I don't know what will be yet).
But of cause things are bound to go wrong today, where I have 2 days left to get ready. I have 2 laptops. My Packard Bell's power adapter is halfway broken, and my Lenovo's power adapter is gone -.-' I am supposed to use my computer at school, which means I will have to buy 2 new adapters -.-'
I'm out
