I've arrived in New Zealand now. Apparently my host family has more students than kids at the moment (which ofcourse isn't a bad thing). I arrived around 13:00 or something like that, but went to my room to catch up some of the sleep I neglected on my way here (because the evil people designing the boring 777 (I think) installed mario super bros. on the computer/tv screen). I don't have unlimited internet like in Denmark. I have 5 gb for my use only, which I guess is good enough (I don't really know how much that is).
My power supply for my computer is broke, so I ordered a new one the minute I arrived. I searched the internet for about an hour, before realising that the only way I could make them send the one I need, was to order it on Ebay... hopefully it works.
Also the house is really cold... my host dad told me that it's like this all over the country, because they apparently aren't very good at keeping the heat inside the house (which is really clear when you look at the windows in my room which only has 1 glass instead of the isolating air between 2 pieces of glass). But I have a really good blanket on my bed, and a heat thingie under the blanket, which is incredibly comfortable.
I'm right now playing computer with my Brazilian brother Carlos, and my host son (I haven't learned his name yet), and waiting for the rare case of eyeball cancer, caused by my computer screen. I apparently also have at least 1 Japanese sister (I think he mentioned a girl, but not 100 % sure), but there might be some more Japanese people (I didn't quite get all he said because of the accent I'll have to get used to, but I'm already starting to understand more and more)
All in all, it's a really nice family I live with, I am sure this will be 10 fantastic and wonderful months, and I can't wait to go to school Monday (which I guess is the first time in my life I have been this excited about school o.O)
See ya, everyone reading this.
Hej Mathias.
Hilsen os alle i Skagen.
