Vulcano

So... Apparently there was an eruption at a Mt Tongariro, which is also where I'm supposed to go on my ski trip. The eruption happened on the other side of the mountain, so the ski trip is still going as planned, unless something extreme happens the next few weeks. I think I flew over the mountain on my way here, but I'm not totally sure. Anyway... apparently Marton (where I live), smelled a lot like Rotorua last night (which smells like sulphur), but I didn't notice anything.

Also... we didn't have any electricity this morning, and it can be really difficult to get dressed with no light, when you HAVE to wear specific clothes, and your room isn't really as tidy as it probably should be... I'm pretty sure it has nothing to do with the eruption, since there hasn't been any real activity the past few days. But I might aswell just tell you

But here's a link if anyone is interested in any further details about the eruption: Vulcano Eruption

Last: I don't really remember whether I told everyone or not. But I have music at school (ofcourse), where I'm supposed to make 2 song, and play 2 solo tracks (where I chose to play Tears in Heaven, and blackbird). I'm pretty much done with my first song, but I still need 2 verses though. But I will probably upload the songs on youtube when I'm done with them if anyone is interested. (and yes, they are really optimistic about their students here)

That should be pretty much all I think :)

    Kh Marianne
